OTP Bank, Hungary’s biggest commercial lender, heads a new ranking of Europe’s best-performing banks published by S&P Global Market Intelligence, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
OTP’s performance in 2023 was supported by “particularly strong lending margins driven by higher interest rates”, S&P Global Market Intelligence said in a press release on Thursday.
